Twelve years after the premiere of his first and only film, The Simpsons return to the cinema. And you won't have to wait long to enjoy the most beloved family of television on the big screen: they will be in the main rooms on March 6. Within a week!
But surely this return is not what you expected. Since they will not return with another movie, but in the form of the Simpsons short film that will be aired before Onward, the new Pixar movie.
This has been possible thanks to the purchase of 20Th Century Fox by Disney, which already owns The Simpsons, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and its own Disney movies and series. The Simpsons short will be released exclusively in theatres and then can only be seen on Disney +, the new platform that opens in Spain next March:

The Simpsons, the series that died in season 10 (what is now is something else very different), is already going on season 31 and has become one of the longest-lived television, with permission from Doctor Who.
In recent weeks there are rumours that we are close to its end, but now that the rights are in Disney's possession, it may want to revitalize the series, and that is why it has created this short film of The Simpsons that will be aired before the Onward movie Pixar Or maybe it's a farewell short, who knows ...
