OnePlus 8 is just around the corner: Snapdragon 865, UFS 3.0 and LPDDR5

In just two weeks, a highly anticipated mobile phone is presented, the new OnePlus 8 Pro. Although the presentations have had to be transferred to the digital universe due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the brands are not giving up on their launch schedule.

On April 14 we will know every one of the details of the new OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro family. In the Iberian peninsula, we can see it on the internet at 5:00 p.m. have confirmed some of the features that had leaked on these models.

Along with the announcement of the official date of the presentation, OnePlus confirms details of the screen and the processor that will allow these models to offer good performance, designed to withstand the most demanding video games.

The screen of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will be OLED and its refresh rate will be 120 Hz, the fastest figure that we see right now in mobile phones and that drives fluidity to the maximum. Added to this is the 5G connectivity offered by the Snapdragon 865, the latest chip presented by Qualcomm.

Another great support to improve the fluidity and performance of this new models is its LPDDR5 RAM, the latest generation that we have already seen in other mobiles such as the S20 and that offers a transfer speed of 6,400 Mbps (51.2 GB / s maximum) plus 45% less energy consumption.

For its part, the storage will be UFS 3.0, the new standard that doubles the storage density of these memories, making possible capacities of 512 GB or 1 TB of internal storage.

Next April 14 in the afternoon we will know what storage capacity the new OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro allows and for what price the brand launches each of these models.
