New Philips Momentum gaming monitors for current and next-generation consoles

The new Philips Momentum gaming monitors are now official: these are the Philips Momentum 558M1RY and 278M1R. We tell you what its characteristics, price, and availability are.
Philips has introduced its new Momentum gaming monitors: the Philips Momentum 558M1RY, which has been designed for current and next-generation consoles, and the Philips Momentum 278M1R, optimized for eSports, especially for FPS titles, action and racing games. 
The Momentum 558M1RY is the protagonist of today's presentation. It is a 55-inch gaming monitor, which according to the company is the largest console-optimized gaming monitor on the market. 
It equips a VA LCD panel with a 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, it is DisplayHDR 1000 certified and its contrast ratio is 4000: 1, so the reproduction of the graphic is rich, clear and deep. To create the most immersive gaming environment, it has three-sided Ambiglow technology, which projects a halo of light with an aspect related to the content being played on the screen.
Its update rate is up to 120 Hz (varies depending on the port used), it has a response time of 4 ms and it is compatible with AMD FreeSync. Thanks to this, gamers receive visual feedback with minimal latency and smooth action without unwanted third party image reference
Regarding the sound, this monitor has a built-in soundbar with the Bowers & Wilkins seal. This equipment allows you to enjoy a 2.1-channel sound system with an output power of 40 W. 
Philips Momentum 278M1R, a 27-inch gaming monitor optimized for eSports
Philips Momentum 278M1R, for its part, is a gaming monitor aimed at eSports users, especially players of FPS titles, action games, and racing. 
It equips a 27-inch LCD panel with 4K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz. It has different game modes to adapt the configuration to the needs of each genre. Also, its entry delay is low to favor gamers who play very fast competitive titles.
This model also features Ambiglow technology to enhance the screen content with a halo of light coming from the monitor. Regarding audio, it has 2 DTS Sound speakers with an output power of 5 W third party image reference
