Huawei would present its next high-end processor at IFA 2020

2020 is held in Berlin from September 3 to 5, with a physical event adapted to the current situation, as confirmed by the organization responsible for the event last May. Little by little more is being known about this event, its presentations (which we can follow from Spain) and the brands present. Honor confirmed its presence yesterday and Huawei could also be at the event.

Huawei is an old acquaintance of the IFA in Berlin, last year they presented Kirin 990 there, their high-end chip. It seems that in this year's edition the brand would repeat this since the fair in the German capital would be the chosen setting for the presentation of its next high-end processor

Huawei would be at IFA 2020Kirin 1000 would be the name of this new high-end processor from Huawei. A processor that we will surely see in the Mate 40 range, which should hit the market this fall. The date chosen by the brand to present this processor would be September 5, at this IFA 2020 in Berlin.

Kirin 9000 will be Huawei's next (and perhaps last) super ...

As expected from a processor within the high range, the Kirin 1000 would already come with 5G connectivity as standard. A processor called to compete in power with others like Qualcomm's Snapdragon 875, which would be presented later this year. This processor would also be manufactured at 5 nm, thus being the first in the market for mobile phones in this manufacturing process.

TSMC has been in charge of producing this new Huawei chip, as is customary for the Chinese brand. About 15 million units of it would be produced. Do not forget that it will be the processor chosen for the Mate 40 this fall, in addition to the P50 that would become official in the first months of next year, in short, the next two ranges within the premium segment of the Chinese brand.

RIP Kirin: New flagship Kirin processors production will stop in ...

It is not something that has been confirmed yet, but it is not the first time that Huawei presents its processor for the high-end range at IFA 2020. So it is possible that on September 5 we will officially meet Kirin 1000.
