Samsung Unveils Five New Power Devices in the Galaxy Ecosystem To Empower  Your Work and Play - Samsung US Newsroom

Samsung is not content to have been the protagonist yesterday with the official presentation of its new Galaxy Z Fold2, nor last August with its Unpacked event, since today it has also come up with a series of new features.

The company has just officialized its new Galaxy A42 5G mobile phone, Galaxy Tab A7 tablet, and Galaxy Fit2 quantifying wristbands. And not content with that, she has also introduced the new Galaxy Book Flex 5G, her new hybrid laptop that offers productivity and performance anywhere, enhanced with 5G connectivity.

The Galaxy A42 5G tries to be Samsung's cheapest 5G connectivity phone, priced below the Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy A51 5G, knowing it will come with an AMOLED Infinity-U 6.6" display at FullHD resolution

It has also transcended that it will carry four rear cameras, with the 48MP main camera, followed by the ultra-wide-angle 8MP, 5MP macro, and 5MP depth, while its front camera, located in a water-shaped notch, will have a 20MP sensor.

And it is known that it will also come with a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support and it will have an output price below 400 euros. The company has not yet offered all the information of the new device, or the rest of the hardware features or the markets they will reach.

For its part, the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 aims to be an inexpensive tablet, which will include a 10.4" TFT LCD at FullHD+ resolution, integrating an eight-core processor at 2 GHz, 3GB, 32GB, and 64GB variants of internal storage, expandable to 1TB via microSD cards, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 7,040mAh battery, and as many Dolby Atmos speakers.

It will also carry Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 5 connectivity, and there is also a variant with 4G/LTE connectivity. Regarding prices, the WiFi-only version will have an exit price of 282, while the LTE version will have an exit price of 282 euros, being able to choose between the Gold, Dark Gray, or Silver color options.

Regarding Galaxy Fit2 quantifying wristbands, they come in place of last year's Galaxy Fit, allowing the trail of up to five different types of activities, in addition to having functions typical of this type of devices, such as monitoring sleep, heart rate, calories consumed, or distances traveled. This generation offers a 1.1" AMOLED touch screen, with 126 x 294-pixel resolution and 3D glass.

It also has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, 159mAh battery for 15 to 21-day battery life, and even Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and WiFi ac. It is IP68 rated and can be submerged in water up to 50 meters. It will be available in the red and black options, and the price at which it will reach the market is still unknown. By way of reference, the previous generation was about $100.

Last but not least, comes Galaxy Book Flex 5G, a hybrid and flexible laptop from Samsung, which in addition to 5G connectivity integrates a 13MP camera and a sophisticated stylus.

It will integrate Intel's eleventh generation of chips with Intel Iris X graphics, creating up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512GB of internal SSD storage (NVMe), all on a 2-in-1 device with a 13" full-resolution full-HD display, 69.7Wh battery, with two AKG speakers up to 5W, plus a fingerprint sensor, backlit keyboard, and even Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI, micro jack and headphones, and slots for SD and UFS cards, plus a slot for SIM.

Just add that you have barely transferred information about the new Wireless Charger Trio, deducing itself only that it will allow wireless charging of up to three devices at a time. We will have to wait to know all its specifications and prices.
