IT (2017)
If there's a king of terror in literature, that's Steven King, it's worth the redundancy. Movies pick up better or worse the essence of books, but they would have to be too bad not to be half as scary as novels. This is not the case with the new adaptation of the scariest clown in history.

It is composed in this new two-chapter installment, the first being on HBO, while the second, released in 2019, is on Movistar+. They'll soon be together on some platform, while, if you're an HBO subscriber, you can revel in this bold, epic, bloody first part that, for horror movie fans, begins to pick up the witness to the great classics of this genre.

A quiet place
They go so far as to explain to John Krasinski, director, and actor in this film, what was going to happen in 2020 and I wouldn't have believed it, him, and almost anyone else. But his horror tape is set in this fateful year and there is also a threat that is killing much of humanity. The similarities are subtle, but enough to add an extra horror to this already distressing tape.

In this case, the threat comes in the form of creatures that they cannot see, but have a hypersensitive sense of hearing. The slightest noise can mean death. Watching Emily Blunt give birth in a bathtub trying not to make any noise despite the pain is the sum of horror and panic this film offers.
