Honor says its new rugged smartwatch has 25-day battery life | Engadget

Honor today unveiled its new Watch GS Pro watch, designed for hard use on the outside, as it features a stainless steel bezel and a polycarbonate body, robust style wherever there are.

It has a 1.39-inch round AMOLED display and promises to have passed military tests (810G) related to water, shock, and heat damage.

The battery lasts 25 days in normal mode, with 48 hours of GPS usage. It's 100 hours in "outdoor training mode" and only two hours to charge. This issue is extremely important, because when we go out on the mountain it is difficult to find plugs in the trees, and the external batteries have their limit.

It has several types of outdoor exercise: hiking, cycling, mountaineering, running, snow sports, and more, and always helps to get back to the origin thanks to its activated GPS.

When it comes to measuring health, it monitors heart rate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and has a built-in SpO2 monitor for blood oxygenation control, as well as sleep and stress control.

In the entertainment and extra features part, it has storage space for around 500 songs, automatic weather updates, and the ability to use the watch to take remote photos of mobile.

It's not the only watch you've ever presented, they've also shown the Honor Watch ES, a mix of exercise tracker and smartwatch. It has an AMOLED display always on 1.64 inches, 456 x 280 (326 PPI), and is designed to be a personal trainer. With the screen always on, the battery lasts less than the other: up to 10 days on a charge.
