Google Calendar Revolution for Android: We Have Tasks!

Google Calendar's mobile apps can create and view Tasks now

Although Google is known in Spain for its search engine and its mail manager, there are a lot of applications, many of them productivity, that help us in the day today.

One of them is Tasks, a very simple app that allows us to manage what we have to do in a list in which we can mark a message as realized, disappearing from the list. It works very similarly to Google's own Shopping List.

This functionality was integrated into Google Calendar months ago, but we could only use it through the web version. Today it arrives on Android, although there were indications of this novelty for almost a year.

Managing our tasks in Google Calendar
After an update to both Google and G Suite accounts, we can create new tasks from the calendar creation menu. To do this, click on the button with the + symbol and choose Tasks.

Within the settings you can modify the colour in which the tasks are presented, to make it easier to see them at the glance. We can also modify what may or may not send us notifications, as we see them from reminders that we can also manage from here.
