Raspberry Pi is that wonder that it offers a complete computer for a few euros, an increasingly less basic computer that can run Linux and transform into several things, from a multimedia centre to the brain of our new electronics project or to the usual computer that we use at home.

But it's not the only option within this category. Radxa has released a single board computer that can run Windows 10 but will need at least 32 GB of storage.

Radxa is the manufacturer of Arm-based Rock Pi and has released its first Intel-based computer.

The new Rock Pi X comes with a 2016 Intel Cherry Trail Atom x5-Z8350 64-bit quad-core processor, which runs at 1.44 GHz. You can run Ubuntu Linux or, with a minimum of 32 GB of storage, Windows 10. However, Radxa recommends 64 GB of space for the Microsoft operating system, while Ubuntu only requires 16 GB of storage.

The Rock Pi X version with 2GB LDDP3 RAM and 16GB flash storage is available for $59, which makes it clear that we're talking about a great alternative to the famous Raspberry.

It has two models, the A and the B. The B includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as a Gigabit Ethernet port, but its price goes to $85 with 64GB eMMC storage. The 128GB option costs 99.

The memory options for the board are 1GB, 2GB or 4GB RAM, while storage options range from 8GB to 128GB. For video output, the HDMI 2.0 port supports output up to 4K to 30 frames per second.

There is also a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB 3.0 port, three USB 2.0 host ports, and a USB Type-C port. The 40-pin expansion head is compatible with Raspberry Pi.

Compared to the Arm-based Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, it's available with 2GB, 4GB and 8GB of RAM, where the 8GB option costs $75.
