How to see the songs you've recently listened to on Spotify

Spotify is the most popular music listening app among Android users in Spain. An application that is continuously kept up-to-date with new features, such as searching for songs by letter. If you use the app regularly, you may hear a lot of songs daily from your account.

The songs we listen to on Spotify do not always belong to our playlists but are sometimes suggestions of the app itself. If you want to see which songs were the ones you played, there's a way to access the songs you've recently listened to on your account.

View song history on Spotify

Whether you've played songs you didn't have on your lists and want to search for a specific one or just by seeing which ones you recently played in your account, the app has a method to view them. Although it is a method that requires several steps because on Spotify we do not have natively a history section, where to see the music that we have played. Luckily, this method is not complex:

  1. Open Spotify on your phone.
  2. Tap Library.
  3. Tap the button to create a new playlist.
  4. Give this list a name.
  5. Tap the Add Songs button.

You get a box with a list of suggestions, and at the bottom, you can see that you can swipe sideways. Swipe to the fourth frame, called "Recently Heard".

Here you can see the songs you've recently heard on your account.

In this list, Spotify shows us the songs we have heard most recently in our account. These are the last 100 songs we've heard, just individual songs. That is, if there is a song you have heard several times in these weeks, it only comes out once, although depending on when you last heard it, it will appear in a higher position on that listing.

If there are any songs you were looking for, you can add it to this playback or then to a different one. This is currently the only method in the app to be able to view the history, so if you want to see the last 100 songs you've played, it's an easy thing to do.
