New Vivo Y12s: an entry range with a lot of memory

Vivo's arrival in Spain has been accompanied by the launch of four mobile phones. We have analyzed two of them, the Vivo X51 and the Vivo Y70. Among the other two was the Vivo Y11s, the input range model that today is replaced by its successor, the Vivo Y12s.

The Vivo Y12s is almost a clone of the Y11s

This new mobile is a minor variant of the Y11s. It is true that the processor changes, moving from a Qualcomm chip to a Mediatek chip, the Helio P35. There are also changes to the internal memory, with a version of 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and another with no less than 4 and 128 GB. This is the biggest asset of this model.

The rest of the features are the same, with a 6.51 inch LCD display and HD+ resolution, an 8 Mpx front camera, two rear sensors of 12 and 2 Mpx...

Even the battery is the same, with 5000mAh and 10W charging. The Android version is 10 and unsurprisingly uses Funtouch OS, although presumably it will soon be upgraded to Origin OS, Vivo's new operating system, which will be announced shortly.

Price and availability

At the moment this terminal has been advertised for Asian markets, where Vivo has a large share of users. The price of the 3 and 32 GB model is about 120 euros at the change while the 4 and 128 GB model rises to 160 euros at the change.
