New Zepp Z: a smartwatch disguised as a classic watch

One of this year's most peculiar smartwatch brands is Zepp. The company, which uses Amazfit software but is independent, has positioned itself as the choice for those looking for a smartwatch but who value, and a lot, the design.

It is something that we saw in the Zepp E, both in the circular crown and the rectangular crown, when they arrived in Spain. Now, this is taken to the extreme with the Zepp Z, a smartwatch that could go through a classic watch given the design it wears.

High-end materials for an elegant watch

What most catches the eye of this watch is undoubtedly its design. I could go through a watch from a classic manufacturer if we just look outside. We have a titanium crown with three buttons on the right side.

The strap is 22 mm and is made of leather, although we can exchange it for others if we want.

It's really a smartwatch

If we go beyond appearances we will see that inside we do not have the mechanics of a normal watch, but that of a smart one.

We have a 1.39 inches circular display with a high resolution of 454 x 454 px and a maximum brightness of 500 nits, perfect for use even in sunlight.

The autonomy allows us to use the watch for up to two weeks between charging and charging, and that using its vital constant measurement functions, exercise performance that we do, notifications and calls...

Like other models in the company, it has support for Alexa, albeit at the moment only in English. And yes, you can talk to him thanks to the built-in microphone and his speaker.

Price and availability

The new Zepp E has been released in the United States for $349 and will arrive in Spain in the future, although we do not yet know the release date. It will cost 299 euros.
