New way to browse YouTube using hashtags

Finding videos on Youtube that deal with a specific topic is relatively simple, as the search field and existing filters can help us find pretty much everything, but there are still people who prefer to browse using hashtags, and in that sense from Youtube offer news.

From the Youtube help centre, they display a new hashtag navigation system, grouping content.

Previously, if we were looking for a hashtag or clicking on a hashtag on YouTube, we saw a combination of content using the hashtag in the video, as well as other related content. Starting today, anyone looking for a specific hashtag on YouTube, whether in the desktop or mobile app, will see a new dedicated page that only contains videos with the hashtag, which are sorted to keep the best videos at the top.

You can also navigate to these pages by clicking on any automatically linked hashtag in any YouTube video.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as making filters of any kind, so the videos will appear in all languages, as you can see in the screenshot above, the result of searching by the hashtag #whatsapp

This new format can help you find content that isn't usually found with the search system, as someone can upload videos with a unique hashtag to classify your material without creating lists.
