OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro arrive in March – what to expect?

The new OnePlus 9 smartphones are expected to be released in March, much earlier than usual in the brand's calendar. Several factors may be behind this anticipation. The first relates to pandemic-motivated losses in 2020 and the other with the introduction of the Nord line, which will inevitably force more launches during the year.

It is expected who in March will be presented the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro and there is already several speculations and some certainties of what these models may offer.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro - what to expect?

It is not long before the world knows the new one plus smartphones and, of course, much has already been written about them.

First, then we have the new OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro equipped with Qualcomm's latest and most powerful processor. We speak, of course, of the Snapdragon 888 which has been showing excellent performance in the top segment.

The Pro model should arrive with a 6.78" screen and the 9 with 6.55" screen. The big difference, besides the size, will therefore be related to the resolution, being one QuadHD+ and the other FullHD+. Also, rumours indicate that the Pro model may even support a 120Hz refresh rate at its maximum resolution.

Both will have on their curved-finished display a front camera piercing the upper left corner. Therefore, before the various images released should be even only one camera.

Speaking of cameras, there's going to be more than once in the back. The OnePlus 9 should then come with a 50 MP Ultra Vision main camera, a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and the 12 MP telephoto.

A recent rumour, shared on the social network Weibo, also gives other details. It advances, for example, that the OnePlus 9 will be 8 mm thick and the 9 Pro 8.5 mm, however, none will weigh more than 200g.

Finally wireless charging

Another relevant information about the new models is that they can finally come equipped with wireless charging technology. This novelty was seen in an image, associated with the new smartphones, where the features "Reverse-Charge" and "Charging wirelessly" are revealed.

The OnePlus 9 should also be equipped with a 4500 mAh battery, which should also be charged at 65W. Wireless charging should then have a power of 30W.

Finally, it should be noted that there may be one more posting associated with this line. Some rumours point to the existence of an OnePlus 9E, which will be a more modest version of these two.
