Google photos adds options in its web version to manage photos

While most google photos focus on your app, because it allows users to edit and organize their photos directly from the mobile gallery, it doesn't neglect its web version either.

So if you turn to the web to take a look at your Google Photos library, upload content from your PC, or organize your albums, you'll come up with two new sections.

New options to manage your photos in Google Photos

As mentioned in 9To5Google, Google Photos is adding two new options on the web that will make it easier to find certain content.

One of them is the "Explore" tab that brings together most of the categories of Google Photos to organize all the photos and videos that we upload to the platform. On the one hand, you'll find what's related to your activity as content marked as favorite or newly added to Google Photos.

And on the other hand, all the creations you've saved, such as collages, videos, animations, etc. And if you simply want to search by category, then it will serve you to resort to this section because it filters your content by content type... screenshots, videos, images added with PhotoScan, etc.

This tab also shows sections based on your content in Google Photos, such as groups of photos taking into account the places you visited, people appearing in photos, and even things that Google's algorithm detects.

So you'll see that this new "Explore" tab that's added in the web version gives you the same thing as the "Search" section of the Google Photos app. So you prefer to organize your photos and videos from the web, it will help you to have this new option.

And a plus that adds with this update of the web version is that a shortcut is added to go to "Favorites". These Google Photos changes are already being implemented to all users.
