Apple to launch a new iPod touch this fall with a design similar to iPhone 12

A new iPod touch with a wide variety of colors could be released over the next few months, taking inspiration from certain aspects of the design of the successful iPhone 12.

While all eyes are on Cupertino's new line of iPhone starting in September, this year presumably without delays, the brand also has other devices that are being renewed almost year after year, and it seems that by 2021we will have a new model of the iPod touch.

As commented from XDA, echoing the AppleLe257filterer, it is said that this new iPod Touch will be designed to look like the iPhone 12 and under a wide variety of color options.

The latest iPod touch model came out in May 2019 but has gone rather unnoticed due to other options that consumer audiences have focused on, but that doesn't mean Cupertino's has forgotten to launch a new model that would re-introduce a single camera configuration.

In November 2020, Apple added 'iPod touch' to their Apple Music PR blurb. Well, now we know why. This Fall Apple is planning to release the next version of the iPod touch. In addition to the hypothetical existence of this new iPod Touch for autumn, no specifications have been discussed or anything on the screen. In any case, if we rely solely on renders, they suggest that the device would have Face ID and screen with minimum bristles.

Apple would have to rely on certain somewhat old phone specifications if you want to keep the price of the new iPad Touch low. By way of comparison, the current model with 32GB of storage is marketed for 239 euros.

There are still a few months left until the fall, and this information could not end up being accurate because at the moment no other rumors have been heard about a relaunch of the iPad Touch, although it is clear that after two years, Apple is likely to launch a new model in the short term.
