China officially enters the race for the colonization of the planet Mars

The Chinese Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology announced this week that it plans to send the first manned mission to Mars in 2033, which will soon be followed by frequent flights. The missions are part of a long-term plan to build a permanently inhabited base on the Red Planet.

The ambitious plan will intensify the race with the United States to establish a human presence in our neighborhood.

In mid-May, China arrived on the planet with the Robotic Jeep Zhurong and has already planned 4 manned launches to Mars between 2033 and 2041.

But before that, it must send new robots to Mars to study possible locations for the base and develop resource extraction systems.

As early as the early 2040s, the country hopes to establish a large-scale earth Mars cargo fleet.

The Chinese's dedication to recent space achievements, such as building a laboratory in Earth orbit, is a clear indication that the plans are serious. Follow!
