Sea of Thieves: Pirates of the Caribbean sail to crossover

Two legends will meet Sea of Thieves and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Team up with Captain Jack Sparrow in a brand new adventure when two of the greatest pirate universes collide. An exciting original story sends players over, below, and beyond the Sea of Thieves and presents them with new enemies and challenges.

The new campaign, which spans five incredible stories full of secrets and side quests, offers players a lovingly crafted story to play alone or with their crew. Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life will be free for all players and will be released as the cornerstone of the third season of Sea of Thieves on June 22nd.

Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life is the game's most ambitious story-driven campaign to date. Players will go on a quest to free Jack Sparrow from his prison and experience the power of the world's greatest pirate treasure, which Jack accidentally stole. Jack is pursued by his old enemy, the infamous Davy Jones, and their arrival on the Sea of Thieves will ultimately be a disaster if Jones and his troops are not stopped.

Of course, new adventures also bring new environments and challenges. Throughout the story, players will battle Davy Jones alongside Captain Jack Sparrow and have the opportunity to explore memorable locations from both universes — not only to Sea of Thieves and Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean film series but also the famous park attractions that have been delighting people for decades.

Players will also face a serious threat from deadly new enemies wherever they sail. Terrifying phantoms require quick reflexes as sirens teem under the waves, using their own devastating weapons. Even the decks of ships are not safe when there are cumbersome ocean crawlers. These new threats will appear in future updates throughout Sea of Thieves, not just during players' adventures with Jack Sparrow!

The Season 3 update with Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life will be available for free to all Sea of Thieves players starting June 22, 2021, who purchased the game on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC or via Steam, or players who have access to it with Xbox Game Pass.
