Live content platform Twitch has launched its Watch Parties feature in its iOS and Android mobile app, allowing multiple users to watch Amazon Prime Video content together while streaming live.

Twitch, owned by Amazon, already allowed users of the service through the web and browsers to carry out watch parties, live broadcasts in which several users watch together and react and discuss a movie or series.

Now, the platform has announced through its official Twitter account that Watch Parties are now available from this Wednesday for Twitch users on iOS and Android phones.

The Watch Parties service is available to both creators and viewers of Twitch, and allows integration with Amazon's streaming video platform, Prime Video,as the company reports on its support website.

Users can select any content available in the Amazon Prime Video movie and SERIES catalog to perform Watch Parties, and only users subscribed to the service, who can be from other regions as long as the content is also available in their country, can join.

The live broadcast is accompanied by the webcam video of the users and their comments, and these have the option to modify the space and position on the screen of these video signals.
