Details of Google pixel 7 and pixel 7 pro release date

Revealed in the latest Google I/O, but without further details, the new Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones have had their screen specifications leaked.

We know that they will be equipped with the new 2nd generation Tensor processor (GS201) and that the camera module will now have an aluminum cover.

The news relates to the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro screens. The normal model will have a screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and an update rate of 90Hz, while the Pixel 7 Pro will have a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, with a much higher refresh rate, 120Hz.

It is worth mentioning that these are exactly the specifications of the screens of pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, so we will not have news in this sense. This news, or rather the lack of them, was discovered by 9 to 5 Google in the Android Open-Source Project, in which Google registered both devices.

The Pixel 7 is codenamed Cheetah and has thus been identified as C10, while the Pixel 7 Pro is called panther, with p10 identification. These two screens are Samsung's S6E3FC3 and S6E3HC3, as well as previous models. Google would be working with a new Samsung screen, S6E3HC4, for the Pixel 7 Pro model, but this has not been confirmed.

The only difference in the screens is that the Pixel 7 will be a little smaller

The Pixel 7 is slightly smaller than the Pixel 6, so the screen is 1 mm smaller in width and 2 mm in height. The Pixel 7 Pro screen is exactly the same size as the Pixel 6 Pro.

In addition, the Pixel 7 Pro will also support a native mode with 1080p resolution. This feature should be used to save the battery in power-saving mode.
